Diesel technician job description​

A Diesel Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities of Diesel Technician

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and components as a Diesel Technician.

Qualifications and Experience of Diesel Technician

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred for Diesel Technicians.
• Previous experience as a Diesel Technician or related mechanical role strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude essential for a Diesel Technician.
• Ability to lift heavy components and work in various conditions.
• ASE certification or equivalent credentials are a plus.
