Job Summary of Rapid Delivery Driver:

Under general supervision, the Rapid Delivery Driver provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages and FedEx Office customer orders, checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service, and provides related customer service functions.This role involves operating company vehicles to transport packages, documents, and other shipments while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries that meet FedEx’s service standards.

Responsibilities of Rapid Delivery Driver:

• Duties involve driving a company vehicle and making sure that vehicles are regularly serviced and cleaned.
• The Rapid Delivery Driver will be briefed on the route by a dispatcher centralized in their operations
• The Rapid Delivery Driver can make changes to the stops on the route as they deem appropriate.
• Drive company automobiles safely to pick up and distribute packages
• When driving and handling deliveries, it is crucial to adhere to all traffic regulations, safety protocols, and operational procedures outlined by FedEx.
• Stay in immediate communication with dispatchers to provide real-time updates on delivery statuses, delays, and alterations to routes.
