About the Role

As an Accountant I, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy across the business. You will be responsible for analyzing and preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. This hybrid role is based out of our Texas Support Center, with 2 in-office days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• 30%: Perform account reconciliations to interpret and report on financial plans

• 25%: Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports for accuracy and compliance

• 20%: Develop and maintain financial data used in management reporting

• 15%: Assign and post entries into the general ledger accurately

• 10%: Design, implement, and document accounting systems using modern technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance

• Experience with month-end close processes

• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance (preferred)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Experience with Oracle (required); Hyperion (preferred)

Key Competencies

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to prepare and process journal entries independently

• Organized and deadline-driven

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Standard office environment with normal safety precautions

• Sedentary work, including sitting, occasional walking, bending, and light lifting (e.g., files or office supplies)

• Use of computer, keyboard, and typical office tools
