Shift Manager

About the Role

The Shift Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager by running efficient, high-quality shifts and ensuring Jimmy John's standards are met. As a Shift Manager, you'll lead the team, provide great customer service, and keep operations smooth and safe in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Team Members to ensure all shift duties are completed

• Maintain high standards of food quality and customer service

• Lead by example with a friendly attitude and positive energy

• Provide coaching, direction, and support to team members

• Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and security standards are followed

• Multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment

• Delegate tasks effectively and motivate the team to work together

• Solve problems quickly and take ownership of decisions

• Communicate clearly with management, team members, and customers

• Champion teamwork, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence

What We're Looking For

• Strong verbal, reading, and basic math skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask

• Leadership experience (restaurant/retail preferred, but not required)

• Friendly, patient, and motivating attitude

• Ability to work effectively in a changing, fast-paced environment
