Job Overview:

The FedEx SameDay City Courier / Delivery Driver is responsible for the efficient pick-up and delivery of packages and customer orders. Working under general supervision, the Delivery Driver provides courteous and timely service, ensuring each shipment meets FedEx service standards. This role involves operating a company vehicle, performing safety checks, and following assigned routes. The Courier receives routing details from dispatch and must adapt to any changes quickly while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a FedEx company vehicle as a SameDay City Courier / Delivery Driver.
• Pick up and deliver customer packages promptly and courteously.
• Verify shipments meet FedEx service standards and delivery requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service as a Courier and maintain strong communication with dispatchers.
• Ensure vehicles are regularly serviced, cleaned, and maintained.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety policies, and FedEx operational guidelines.
• Manage delivery documentation and package verification accurately.
• Represent FedEx as a dependable, professional Delivery Driver in every interaction.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening.
• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
