The Stocking & Unloading Associate plays a critical role in the overall efficiency of warehouse and retail operations. As a Stocking & Unloading Associate, your main responsibility is to unload incoming shipments, organize products, and ensure merchandise is properly stocked on shelves or in backroom storage. A dependable Stocking & Unloading Associate ensures that inventory is accurate, shelves remain full, and customers can easily find the products they need.

A Stocking & Unloading Associate works closely with the receiving team to unload delivery trucks, verify shipment accuracy, and move merchandise safely throughout the warehouse or sales floor. Responsibilities of a Stocking & Unloading Associate:

• Unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Move merchandise to designated storage or display areas.
• Stock shelves with new inventory and rotate older products as needed.
• Verify the accuracy of shipments and report any discrepancies.
• Keep backroom and warehouse areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
• Assist fellow Stocking & Unloading Associates and supervisors in meeting stocking goals.
• Follow all company policies and safety guidelines related to stocking and unloading.

Requirements and Qualifications for a Stocking & Unloading Associate:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience as a Stocking & Unloading Associate, warehouse worker, or stock clerk is an advantage.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work early morning, overnight, or flexible shifts as required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented work ethic.
